EXPOSED!

This may not seem to look like a campaign ad but in fact, it is. I am aghast seeing this sticker inside a jeepney I am riding on my way home. Horrified as with the awful truth hit me, yes, GREED for power can be an early bird waiting for its worms.
A little advice for you Sir, try to have a bit of color coordination. That I guess, will somehow change the way we look at your ways, the helpful and those obviously senseless ones too.

Remember Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago's appeal on other politicians showing up in various ads with an obvious hidden agenda in it? I do, and I wanna let her know there is a much worse campaign propaganda being done by the seemingly silent predator we hate and almost loved.

At first when I saw the sticker, I laughed silently thinking could our politicians think of any design worst than this? I guess not.

And the bold '2010' says it all. Bayani Fernando is really creative and consistent. I remember once when there was a rule that no politician or any local official is allowed to put up his/her name in any public projects/structure.

In this case, if he/she is really the one doing the labor, sweating out blood and tears all day,all night, then maybe that would be an exception.

Still, I have to absorb the irresponsibility of SOME of our beloved leaders. SOME would even try out in the modelling carreer as their billboards unknowingly 'beautifies' our major roads. SOME would pose so good that even if they don't consider politics they will surely become the hottest models out there, somewhere.

IT'S SICKENING. When will be the time when no name, no face will be pictured as the 'HERO' of a certain 'project'? When will the taxes that came from the striving Filipinos be used for their own good, and not be labeled as someone Else's? When will the streets of our country, cleaned from the pictures and names of these cunning officials, taking advantage of their power?

All I ask for is for them to realize that the people DON'T care what their name is, or how they look like no matter how good or bad. I ask for service, that is transparent and not taking advantage for the sake of power or popularity that will lead them to the top of the political ladder.
